| About Us |
| The Foley Bluegrass Band got it's official start in March of 2007, but had been in the works in 2005 and 2006 as its members experimented with several instruments and playing styles. |
| The Band consists of: Courtney Foley on Guitar, Hillary Foley on Banjo, Jordan Foley on Bass. Their Sister Katherine was playing mandolin with them, but is currently studying fiddle. All of the girls sing lead and harmony. |
| In 2006, after a year of playing, Courtney and Hillary auditioned at a local amateur country music show, and experienced playing for an audience. They were hooked! |
| During 2006, the girls recorded their first CD at home, which is a collection of original songs by Courtney. This CD represents their musical beginnings although it is far from their current sound! |
| In 2007, the girls began work on their second CD, THE PLACE WHERE BLUEGRASS GROWS, which they hope to release soon. |
| The Foley Bluegrass Band loves to play anywhere! Their songs can be intense and hard driving, or soft and sweet, and they are honored to be able to praise the Lord with all the passion their music holds. |
